Numerical Simulation of Work State of Large Hydrostatic Bearing

Abstract: A finite element model for hydrostatic bearing is established by solving the simplified N-S equation by finite element method.The pressure and flow rate needed in the oil chamber for satisfying the bearing capacity is calculated by APDL and the distribution law of the pressure and velocity of the lubrication oil passing through the bearing is found.Based on this,the relation between the influencing factors such as the deviation angle of oil chamber,radius gap and oil viscosity,and the flow rate and the bearing capacity of oil film is analyzed,providing a basis for the design of the oil supply system of hydraulic bearing.
