Abstract: The dust monitoring significance is pointed out through the analysis of dust hazards and the progress in both domestic and foreign research on dust monitoring techniques is discussed.Comparison is made between China and foreign developed countries in relation to the implementation of laws and regulations, accuracy and innovation of monitoring instruments, and measures for monitoring, prevention and control of dust and main gaps are found out.The development orientation for China's future dust monitoring technical field is pointed out.
