Abstract: To make sure about the safety of the buildings and structures in the surface displacing area after the deep mining at Zhongguan Iron Mine, attempt was made to use large universal finite element method-ANALYSIS to simulate the law of mining-caused surface subsidence when cementation filling was adopted. The results show that the buildings and structures in the area outside the thick orebody moving area but within the thin orebody moving area are safe, preliminarily reveal the ground subsidence law after a total tailing (cementation) filling, and indicate that the filling body can effectively control the deformation of the overlying rock, with the ground surface deformation being very weak and with no evident displacing basin formed.
