Stability Analysis and Research of Soil Slope in Yixing

Abstract: Landslide of certain Yixing section of Ningbo-Shanghai-Hangzhou petroleum piping was induced by local geological conditions and human factors. Based on the filed survey of this soil slope section, the strength parameter of the slope is found out by means of both variational method and parameter inverse calculation method, the slope stability is calculated and analyzed by limit equilibrium theory and finite element method, and preventative and control measures are finally proposed, including immediate stop of slope front edge excavation, adopting anti-seepage, drainage and water interception measures, setting two to three rows of anti-sliding pillars, and strengthening monitoring.
