Abstract: In light of certain Yunnan flotation tailing, research was carried out on new process and new agents for flotation separation of arsenic from sulfur. The results indicate that at high alkaline condition, arsenic and sulfur can be effectively separated by using sodium humate to depress arsenopyrite and pyrite and using new activator NC to realize a selective activation, reducing the arsenic from 1.78% to 0.22%. The sulfur concentrate can have a grade of 45.75% and a recovery of 85.60%.
