高浓度赤泥颗粒特性和流变特性的试验研究

摘要: 赤泥组成颗粒细小(d50=13.02 μm)经高压管道输送时表现为一种高浓度、高粘度的膏体状固液两相流。其流变特性的测试表明,旋转粘度计等测试方法不能反应物料在管道中的真实流动状态,其确定的流变参数偏大。为此,基于管流法的测量原理,利用自行研制的加压管式流变试验台,测试了赤泥在几种不同浓度下(60.2%,63.6%,66.8%)的流变特性,得出其本构方程。综合得出赤泥在管道中流动时表现出非牛顿假塑性流体的特性,其稠度系数和流动指数均随浓度的不同而发生较大变化。

Abstract: Red mud consists of fine particles (d50 =13.02 μm) and exhibits a high concentration high viscosity paste solid-liquid two-phase flow in piping transport. The testing of its rheological property indicates that testing methods such as rotational viscometer can not reflect its real flow state in piping, with the measured rheological parameters larger than real ones. Based on the tube flow measurement principles, self-developed tube type pressure rheological testing facility was used to measure the rheological properties of red mud at different concentrations (60.2%, 63.6% and 66.8%) and the constitutional equation was obtained. It is concluded that the red mud, when flowing in piping, exhibits the properties of non-Newtonian pseudoplastic fluid and its consistency coefficient and flow index will vary greatly with the concentration.
