用活性白土直接制备有机白土

摘要: 将活性白土与价格较低的硬脂酸直接反应制备有机白土,考察了硬脂酸用量、反应温度及反应时间对有机白土中有机物含量的影响。试验结果表明,在硬脂酸与活性白土的质量比为60%、反应温度为60 ℃、反应时间为2 h条件下,可制得有机物含量为28.9%的有机白土。对所制备的有机白土进行XRD和FTIR分析,结果显示,硬脂酸根已经进入到蒙脱石的晶体结构中,使蒙脱石的层间距扩大了0.79 nm。

Abstract: Organic clay was prepared by the reaction of activated clay with cheap stearic acid. The effects of the dosage of stearic acid, reaction temperature and reaction time on the content of organics in the organic clay are investigated. The results show that the under the conditions of mass ratio of stearic acid of 60%, the reaction temperature at 60 ℃ and reaction time for 2 h, the organic clay with the organics of 28.9% was produced. The XRD and FTIR analysis on the product indicated that the stearic acid has been intercalated into the crystal inter-layers of montmorillonite and expands the interlayer distance of Montmorillonite for 0.79 nm.
