Abstract: Yanzigou gold  mine in Danba is located in western Sichuan plateau and the up stream of nature reserve area of Dadu River，where the ecological environment is very vulnerable.Through evaluating the quality of surface-water and groundwater，the influence of minerals exploitation on the regional water environment are analyzed.According to the condition of hydrogeology，some countermeasures for pollution in exploitation of Danba Yanzigou gold mine in Sichuan are proposed from the angle of environmental protection，which include of building a catch-water ditch between the wasted-rock yard outside of tunnel and its bottom，strengthening the management of tailings dam，and regularly monitoring the quantity and quality of surface and groundwater，etc..This can facilitate the sustainable development of resources and environment.
