Abstract: The supply status quo of China's iron ore has been generalized both from the internal and external aspects; furthermore, in accordance with the rapid appreciation of international iron ore and the SWOT analysis for the continuable development of the iron ore resource, concrete tactic choices have been carried out as follows: Strengthen macro-control, exert the function of government, comprehensively utilize the economic instrumentality of market to allocate the iron ore resource reasonably and effectively; implement strategy for multiple sources of iron ore, take full use of iron ore resource both from internal and external to make sure of the supplement of iron ore in China, thereby realizing the continuable development of China's iron ore resource.
