Abstract: Feasibility study is made on the beneficiability of Motuoshala ore which mainly contains hematite both by anionic and cationic reverse flotation based on its lithofacies analysis, multi-elements chemical analysis, mineralogical phase analysis, size analysis and magnetism analysis. The effect of the type and dosage of collectors and depressors on the reverse flotation result is studied. The test results show that when anionic reversed flotation process is used to treat Motuoshala ore at 25℃, an iron concentrate with a grade of 60.15% , iron recovery of 93.23% and SiO₂ content of 9.32% can be obtained.
