Abstract: The general characteristics, mechanical properties, formation and evolution of the mineralization controlling structure of Baguamiao gold deposit and its mineralization controlling characteristics are comprehensively studied. The results indicate that the occurrence of Baguamiao gold deposit is dually controlled by its brittle-ductile shear zone, imbricate up thrust fault and its induced structure. The small folds in the zone control the shape and extension of gold orebody and the late supposition of NE transtensional faults and joints has re-enriched the gold to finally form commercial rich orebodies in Baguamiao gold deposit.
