Abstract: In view of the present frequent deep ground pressure activities in Hongtoushan Copper Mine, mine microseismic monitoring system was established in the mine for continuous real-time monitoring of deep ground pressure activity. The paper describes the selection of the monitoring area and the optimization of sensor layout. The systematic analysis was made of the identification of microseismic signal and it is found thorough the analysis of the monitoring data that microseismic events and blasting events can be well differentiated in accordance with the energy magnitude and wave form; the location results of microseismic events can directly reflect the change of the fissures in rockmass; the rising tendency of microseismic event frequency indicates gradually enhanced ground pressure activity. The monitoring system can timely capture the information of microseismic activity caused by ground pressure and realize the location of microseismic source, which is of great practical significance to the research on the prediction of mine dynamic disasters.
