Abstract: In light of the characteristics of a high calcium scheelite ore, a process is tested which includes the separation of coarse tungsten concentrate by gravity separation after the primary grinding and the production of fine tungsten concentrate by normal temperature flotation and heated flotation of the tailings of the said gravity separation after their regrinding and combination with slime. The concentrate of gravity separation has a WO3 grade of 68.93% at a recovery of 82.71%; the flotation concentrate has WO3 grade of 6.7% at a recovery of 9.34% and the combined concentrate ,WO3 grade of 68.7% at a WO3 recovery as high as 92.05%, indicating fine test results.
