Abstract: In light of the features and properties of the hidden leakage trouble of mine dams, through site survey and analysis, a joint detection of high-density resistivity method and the ground penetrating radar (GPR) was made. In combination with the relevant geological conditions and the dam body structural characteristics, the distribution range, scale and depth of the hidden leakage trouble were deduced, illustrating that it is feasible and efficient to use the integrated geophysical survey in detecting the hidden trouble in dams and providing reliable technical data for the engineering reinforcement.
