Abstract: Fangeda gold ore field is located in the Xiongershan uprise-fault zone of Huaxiang platrform uprise at the south edge of the north China platform, which is characterized by the regional fault control of the ore-forming belt distribution and the local fault control of the occurrence of gold deposits (sites), which are distributed in the area 1~5 km distant from the outside the Wuzhangshan rockmass contact belt. In the area, paleovolcanic structure and the ring and radial structures surrounding the paleovolcanic crater are often the spots favorable for ore forming. The outer alteration zone surrounding the granite rockmass of Yanshan stage is also the target of ore prospecting
