Abstract: Beneficiation processes of  flotation and gravity separation, pre-concentration by gravity separation, flotation and gravity separation and  pre-concentration by gravity separation, flotation, magnetic separation and gravity separation were tested for the primary and secondary tungsten ore slimes containing 0.21%~0.36% WO3 and 77.47% -0.043 mm size fraction. The results show that all these three processes can obtain a sheelite concentrate of flotation containing 46.74%~55.38% WO3 at a recovery of 29.82%~47.14% and a wolframite concentrate of flotation containing 36.62%~38.76%WO3 at a recover of 19.24%~32.51%. The “pre-concentration by gravity separation,, flotation and gravity separation” is more benefit for treating this tungsten slime.
