Abstract: In the mining of deep-seated complex deposit in Huize Lead-Zinc Mine of Yunnan Chihong Zinc-Germanium Co., Ltd, the continuous mining technology with hydraulic-prop roof support combined filling was used to reform the traditional upward horizontal slicing filling method. With the roof support by monomer hydraulic props as its technical core, the method also adopts controlled blasting, combined detachable isolation wall and trackless mechanized construction technology, enlarged access section and increased waste rock backfill amount to realize a continuous mining. As a result, the stope roof stability is ensured, the mining process simplified, the cutting engineering quantities reduced, the dilution-loss further reduced and the mining capacity improved.
