Abstract: Visualized management of the faces of underground developments is of great significance to the safety and grade control in daily mining activities.A mathematical model for real-time monitoring of faces of underground developments is established based on the designed parameters of underground drives and daily geologic logging.Excel is employed to calculate the results of the mathematic model, and set up the data sheets related to developments and geological features.A geological database is set up and used to complete visualized management by using Micromine software.Face samples and wall samples of underground developments can be treated as drillhole samples in Micromine, these two types of drillhole databases combined with the exploration drills database can be used to locally modify the block model only constrained by exploration drill database, and a more real block model can thus be achieved.
