Abstract: The paper presents the on-line moisture testing and sample preparation by a robot in the mechanical sampling and preparation system at Rizhao Port.As a result, the moisture testing and unloading of imported iron ore can be carried out synchronously, and -0.210 mm test samples can be directly obtained after unloading, realizing a synchronous on-line moisture testing and sample preparation in the mechanical sampling and preparation system.Through an optimized design, only one robot is used for on-line testing and sample preparation in the two systems for iron ore mechanical sampling, making the system more rational and advanced.
