Abstract: The storage theory in modern management is introduced to the distribution of surface soil resource flow in open-pit mines. The supplying chain between soil collection area and land reclaimation area is considered as a resource supply and selling integrity.Based on this, the optimal surface soil reserve is determined and the calculation formula for optimal storage period and economic production batch (or surface soil supply) is derived.Further more, re-partition of land reclaimation investment in open-pit mines is made from the viewpoint of technical economics.
