Abstract: Based on Egenhofer's  n-intersection mode and in consideration of the particularity of mine geology, a 3D model for the Mn×n(4×4,3×3) spatial relation between geological bodies is proposed, greatly enhancing the ability to describe the spatial relation between geological bodies and providing a solution for describing the spatial relations such as inclusion and embedding. In view of the uncertainty of geological bodies, a Rn×n (4×4,3×3,2×2) relation model for fuzzy geological bodies is proposed, which can give a detailed description of the geological bodies with fuzziness, thus providing a model base for the query, analysis and reasoning of the topological relation between the geological bodies in mining area.
