Abstract: The geologic conditions are favorable for gold mineralization in Shuangpengxi gold deposit.Its regional geology and geochemistry are presented and ore-forming conditions are analyzed.Comprehensive anomalies of elements such as Au, Cu, Ag, Pb and Zn are found in a 1/25,000 primary halo reconnaissance.Primary halo abnormities reflect the existence of gold mineralization and Au, Sn, Cu, Pb and Zn are the most important indicator elements.Abnormities are closely related with the mineralization forms and occurrences controlled by faulted structures, further indicating that the gold ore in this area is mainly controlled by faulted structures.
