Abstract: GIS, RS and GPS are integrated and used in monitoring the tailing reservoir safety.Remote sensing and global positioning system are adopted to collect the basic data for the tailing reservoir and the global positioning system is used in the collection, storage, processing and database building for the information of the tailing reservoir and surrounding environment to realize the query, analysis, dynamic management and information output of information, thus providing a basis for monitoring the tailing reservoir safety, which is important practical significance to prevent or reduce the accident damage.
