Abstract: The paper analyzes in detail and calculates the magnetic buoyancy force exerted on the non-magnetic mineral particles in the magneto hydro static separation (MHSS) system by means of fluid mechanics and Maxwell electromagnetic equations, and on this basis, derives the resultant force acting on these particles in the magnetic fluid when the magnetic intensity gradient direction is vertically downward.
