Abstract: Based on the laboratory test, a cyclone static micro-bubble flotation column was used in the semi-industrial test conducted by diverting the feed stream of industrial flotation machine in a certain Henan Bauxite Concentrator.The test results indicate that the cyclone static micro-bubble flotation column, by a process of one roughing one cleaning, can obtain a bauxite concentrate with a yield of 71.1%, a Al₂O₃-SiO₂ ratio of 10.68 and an Al₂O₃ recovery of 79.9%.Their comparison with those of the concentrate produced by the site flotation production adopting a process of one roughing, two cleaning, one scavenging and one cleaning-scavenging, shows a basically same aluminum-silicon ratio, a yield increase of 4.1 percentage points and an Al₂O₃ recovery increase of 3.2 percentage points.
