Abstract: A laboratory test was made to identify the beneficiability of a low grade molybdenum polymetallic ore .The results show that molybdenite is the main recoverable metal mineral and bismuthinite and scheelite are the associated metal minerals recoverable.A full flotation flowsheet consisting of molybdenum-bismuth bulk flotation and separation, and scheelite separation from the bulk flotation tailings was adopted. The closed-circuit test gained a molybdenum concentrate grading 52.42% at a 95.11% recovery, a bismuth concentrate grading 15.16% at a 53.06% recovery and a scheelite concentrate grading 30.5% at a 36.60% recovery. The study results provide a technical basis necessary for the future resource exploitation.
