Abstract: Green mine is a brand-new mine development mode and has been considered as the optimal solution for mine sustainable development.The basic connotation of green mines can be outlined as establishing mine resource-environment integration, giving prominence to ecological garden mines and intensifying the concept of green operation.The necessity and urgency of building green mines are demonstrated from the objective requirements of China's conditions and policies, and of implementing the scientific development perspective and ecological construction.The key links of and suggestion on the green mine construction are put forward.
