Abstract: A fuzzy intelligent controller was designed for the ore pulp level in the pump sump in the classification stage of mineral separation.It uses the fuzzy control arithmetic and frequency speed control technology to realize the control of the pulp level in the sump so as to solve the problem that the variation of pump throughput due to an intense variation of pulp level can lead to a reduced classification efficiency of hydrocyclones.The simulation result shows that the system's steady state error is smaller than 0.17%, thus improving the classification capacity of hydrocyclones.
