Abstract: Pneumoconiosis incidence rate has been kept high in China, causing a wide social attention to the safety issue of dusting operation sites. The conventional safety assessment has not been adaptable to the new requirements of development and a scientific, rational assessment is required for dusting operation sites, which will be of great significance to reducing the dust-caused occupational hazards.Starting from the factors of man, material, environment and management, the paper discusses the influencing factors for the hazard degrees of dusting operation sites, including 12 second-level influencing factors and further 40 third-level influencing factors; sets up an assessment indicator system for dusting operation sites; proposes a risk assessment model for dusting operation sites based on a fuzzy comprehensive assessment with fuzzy mathematic theory; and examines the rationality of this model through actual application.
