Abstract: With the increasing mining depth, the geopressure-caused problems are increasing, mainly including roof caving, wall falling and rockburst. In view of these, the paper studies the staged mining sequence of deep-buried orebodies, simulates with 2D-σ program two different staged mining sequences, and analyzes their stress field and displacement fields. The simulation result indicates that the upward mining can better improve the stress and displacement so as to weaken the roof caving and wall falling in deep mining.
