Abstract: To realize a safe mining in the specific conditions of large waterflow mine, Gujiatai Iron Mine has successfully solved the underground water problem by adopting a limestone curtain grouting of near-orebody roof, which uses sublevel fill stoping with pre-control roof and medium-long hole under the protection of inclined curtain for room stoping.The stope structure parameters and extraction process of this mining method are presented.The production practice has verified that it can well adapt the mining under water.
