Abstract: The Atomic Fluorescence Spectrometry is pointed out to measure the Hg content in iron ores.Based on this, the dissolution method, samples' acid, the allowance of disturbing elements and the optimum working conditions for devices were determined. The results show that this method with the detection limit of 0.032 μg/L, the accuracy of 4.5%, the linear area of 0 ~ 40 μg/L, the recovery rate of 97.2% ~104.8% can be adopted as daily inspection of Hg content in iron ores.
