Abstract: Taking the material handling and internal market in mine as an example,the guiding ideology,application and significance of UML in various stages of management information system development and design were elaborated,and some problems of UML in application situation,design flow-sheet and stage links in completion of main mission were emphatically discussed and solved.So it is clear that UML provided a nimble,legible and also non-ambiguous expression pattern.The efficiency of the system analysis design and code compilation is enhanced,with the demand change rapidly showing.
