    With the domestic advances in research and practice of mineral processing in 2008 reviewed,abundant research work were carried out in aspects of ore preparing,nonferrous metals beneficiation,ferrous metals beneficiation,nonmetals beneficiation,application of biotechnology in mineral processing,beneficiation reagent,dressing equipments,tailings disposal,environmental protection and so on.The emphasis is focused on improving separation indexes,especially on the beneficiation of cupriferous,lead-zinc ferrous ores,quality improvement and impurity decrease of ferrous ores.In additional,the research on microorganism beneficiation and tailings utilization becomes deeper; while the study on the basic theory and new equipment of mineral processing is somewhat unsubstantial,which needs to strengthen further.

    Rock mass,rock bolts and cement mortar are regarded as the composite reinforced material of anchored rock mass.A layered model of anchoring composite material is established according to the principle of strain energy equivalent and mechanical properties of anchoring rock mass are studied quantitatively.Based on above analysis,the space between rock bolts arranged in sector will increase with the anchoring depth growing,and the equivalent mechanical properties of the reinforced rock mass will vary when the space between rock bolts changes.Functions of equivalent mechanical parameters related to the rock bolts anchoring depth of the underground cavity anchoring composite material are deduced and deformation stability is analyzed with the finite element methods to verify the theoretical analysis.So the anchoring mechanism of the rock bolts arranged in sector in the underground cavity will be realized more clearly.

    The shear stress distribution function of grouted rock bolt is set up based on the interface between bolt and wallrock mass and following the Coulomb-Mohr yield criterion.On this basis,the distribution functions of the shear stress and axial load of the grouted rock bolt in wallrock under the actual stress are set up based on the mechanism of interaction between wallrock mass and grouted rock bolt.Meanwhile,a computing formula of neutral point is set up according to the concept of neutral point.The effects of various factors on the actual stress of bolt are analyzed in detail,providing a certain theoretical basis for analyzing its reinforcement mechanism.

    A whole process digital tracking test scheme of marble meso-damage based on scanning electron microscopy(SEM) is designed for the uniaxial compression of a marble sample from Jinping,Sichuan.Based on the digital image processing technology,a quantitative analysis for the whole process of microfracture from initiation,growth to breakthrough is made,and the basic geometrical data such as area,azimuth angle and length of the sample in load-bearing process are extracted.Statistic analysis is made on the whole process meso-damage information of the micro-fractures of 32 samples by statistics theory.It is concluded that the azimuth angle,length and space of marble sample micro-fractures in the uniaxial compression process obey the regularity of generalized extreme value distribution of variable parameters.

    This paper has analyzed and studied their rock mechanics parameter,mineral composition,grain sizes and microscopic structure of the ore for both Anqian mine and Qidashan iron mine,detected the influence of ore characters of microscopic composition,structure feature,mineral component to drilling ability,know the intrinsic influencing factor of drilling ability,disclosure the ultimate reasons for drilling difficulties and low service life of drill bit at Anqian mine.This paper has graded drilling ability and forecasted the bit life length of the ore for both Anqian mine and Qidashan iron mine,which provided the scientific base of material consumption rate and base data for optimizing bit matching with ore character and drilling rig working parameters that have guiding meaning for Anqian mine.

    Deep-cone thickener as a high-effective thickening equipment was developed in 1970s,which owns a great production capacity and can get a higher underflow density.It provides guarantee for the preparation of paste filling materials.In this paper,the structure and operating principle of a deep-cone thickener are described.The thickening processes are divided into: clarification area,sedimentation area,critical concentration area,and compression area by on-field observation.The laws of concentration changing and the major influencing factors by experiments are studied respectively.The results indicate that the sedimentation of tailings has three steps and the 76%~82% change range of underflow density in normal operating was obtained,providing a theoretical basis for prediction and control of system fault.

    A comprehensive assessment of system often requires several indicator systems,which are given weights to reflect their respective distribution.The defects of hierarchy analysis method are pointed out.The multi-experts' information iteration is made and the comparative value of two indicators in interval form is given,which is in more conformity with people's thinking way and reduces the process of consistency check.The real application cases show that this method can reduce the times of indicator comparison and rationally reflect the weight of assessment indicators,thus providing a new approach to determining the index subjective weight in system comprehensive assessment.

    There are lots of crushed ore rocks and unstable filling body in north of Jiaojia gold mine. The numerical simulation and analysis on different ways of stope structure and artificial false top bearing layer thickness and bearing layer were done under the condition of adjacent filling the stress, strain and plastic deformation status, etc. According to this analysis, over stress for 12 kinds of model bearing bed possibly causes damage;Meanwhile, almost all adjacent filling bodies have been damaged with poor mining security. Therefore, the building process of artificial roof should be optimized; the bearing layer should be strengthened; and the security in mining should be also improved.

    The concept of “diaphragm wall with pre-stressed vertical bolts” is put forward in this paper,and its functional mechanism is analyzed.According to a practical project,the slope stabilities before and after construction of the wall are analyzed contrastively by analysis of geo-technology software.The results show that slip coefficient is increased markedly by 34.8%,and safety factor against sliping is improved by 16.8%,leading to the stability of wall enhanced.After completion of this scheme,field monitoring revealed that the slope and the diaphragm wall are very stable,and the pit discharge decreases evidently,so the diaphragm wall with pre-stressed vertical bolts is worthy to be popularized widely in the similar projects.

    Jinqu gold mining has a capacity of spaces and demands expansion.For this,the optimization method is selected for mining,the numerical simulation method for optimizing the structural parameters of stope,and the orthogonal test for optimizing parameters of rock blasting.At the same time,the sub-level mining process is utilized,where the reserve point column is used to support the roof,long cables and bolting supporting in some place,and the smooth blasting to reduce the destruction of pre-board and to monitor the dynamic sinking of the roof by standard measurement.Research on mining method makes the application of the sub-level filling mining method successful.A result with direct cost 19.07 yuan/t at loss rate of 5.68%,dilution rate of 12.15% has been obtained,which increases the production capacity in the mining to 500 t /d.

    The effect of temperature and atmosphere conditions on the magnetization of Wangjiatan siderite under fluidization was investigated.The results showed that Fe concentrate grading of 58.00% at a 90.00% recovery was achieved under conditions of the thermal decomposition ratio over 94.5% and the magnetizing conversion ratio above 89.94% at the temperature of 800~1 060 ℃ and the reducing atmosphere of 1.5%CO.Whenever in the reducing atmosphere(0~1.05%CO) or oxidation atmosphere(0.47~1.85%CO),Fe recovery can reach achieved 90.00% at the temperature of 1000℃.

    Lingyang iron ore of Jilin linjiang contains the hematite,magnetite,limonite and siderite,which has a complex Fe composition and structure.And the gangue mineral as chamosite was easy to be slimed.So this kind of ore is a refractory one.The experiments of roasting-magnetic separation for the iron ore showed that at a suitable condition,the Fe concentrate reached up to 60.83% at an iron recovery of 64.1% and Fe grade in tailing of 27.60% by the roasting-magnetic separation,thus laying a foundation for application of Lingyang iron ore in Jilin Linjiang.

    The ores' characteristics of Masteel Heshangqiao Iron Ore were investigated,and tests on the high-pressure grinding roll were studied.Based on this,a series of beneficiation tests research have been finished from the flow-sheets of stage grinding,stage separation,fine screening,regrinding and re-separation for over-size screening,high pressure grinding roll,stage-separation,fine screening,and again regrinding and re-separation for over-size screening,as well as the flow-sheet of high pressure grinding roll,3~0mm tailing rejection,stage grinding,stage separation,fine screening,and regrinding and re-separation for over-size screenings.A good concentrate grading at 64.87%~66.06% with a 72.00% recovery has been achieved.Due to the characteristics of low grade magnetite,and according to the comparison of the flow-sheet index,operation costs,and flow-sheet reasonability,two flow-sheets consisting of the high-pressure grinding roll,stage grinding,stage separation,fine screening and regrinding and re-separation for over-size screening,as well as the flow-sheet of high-pressure grinding roll,3~0mm tailing rejection,stage grinding,stage separation,fine screening,and regrinding and re-separation for over-size screenings are recommended for Heshangqiao Iron Mine.

    This paper studies the flotation tests of hematite using Sodium Dodecyl Sulfonate(SDS) as collector.and the following effect factors as pH,Ca2+,NaF,Na2SiF6 and(NaPO3)6 are investigated.In the process of hematite flotation using SDS as anionic collector,the optimum pH value lies between 3~4, the concentration increase of NaF can activate the hematite flotation,however Ca2+ and(NaPO3)6 can depress the chloride flotation.FT-IR analysis displays that the force of the SDS collector is electrostatic adsorption.

    The experiments on vanadium extraction from stone coal of a place in HuBei indicate that the method of no-salt-roasting and low acid leaching could get better result,after comparison of five different technologies.The research on such processing parameters as roasting temperature,roasting time,dosage of sulfuric acid and acid leaching time indicates that the extraction rate of vanadium could reach 77.51%~80.33% under the conditions of material particles of -0.147mm,roasting temperature 900℃ ~950℃,roasting time 1~1.5h,, dosage of sulfuric acid 2.5% and acid leaching time 1h at normal leaching temperature.

    The complex multi-metal ores contain many valuable metallic elements like gold,silver,copper,lead and zinc.The paper mainly focuses on gold and silver recovery by the flotation.The gold and silver content in raw ores is 2.40 g/t and 150.00 g/t respectively.Under the condition of grinding to85% -0.074mm and a suitable reagent,and in view of the ore's property,some technical measures as strengthening disperse sludge and floatation are adopted in tests.A good concentrate with gold grade of 27.15g/t at a 50.19% recovery and silver grade of 2181.66 g/t at an 60.42% recovery can be obtained from the process of one celerity flotation,one rough,two cleaning and two scavenging separation.

    For the property of Nongruri gold mine in Tibet,the flotation process of one roughing,four scavenging and two cleaning separation is adopted,using sodium butyl xanthates and ammonium-butyl aerofloat as collectors,and water glass as disperser,and terpineol as frother under grinding fineness of less than 91.97% -0.074 mm.The gold concentrate grading of 172.83 g/t at a 93% recovery and a 3.00% yield with 0.36 g/t Fe grade in tailing was obtained,providing a reasonable process for development and utilization of the ores.

    In view of the discrete gold ore,and low gold recovery for some fine or extra-fine gold ores by the conventional collector,Mac-12 collector was used to improve gold recovery.The experimental results showed that Mac-12 is a high effective collector for gold.Under the condition of low alkaline medium at pH 9,and compared with the butylxanthate,the flotation index with gold recovery can be improved by 5.41%,and gold grade by 18.74 g/t by Mac-12 collector.

    A molybdenum ore had a high content of slimes and carbonate gangue,leading to a great difficulty in its beneficiation.The beneficiation test for this ore adopted a whole flotation process,where modified sodium silicate was used as slime disperser and gangue depressor,lead nitrate as activator,kerosene and RT as collectors,and terpenic oil as frother.The bulk flotation of molybdenum sulfides and oxides was carried out as molybdenum roughing,and the rougher concentrate was then cleaned at heating and high alkaline medium,achieving good results.The molybdenum concentrate grading 30.78% at a 72.03% Mo recovery was obtained from a run-of-mine ore grading 0.17% Mo.

    This paper presents the characteristics of molybdenum and the development status of the copper-molybdenum separation technology and also explores the best process condition for the copper-molybdenum separation.The results show that the low recovery problem of molybdenum minerals separation could be resolved when thioglycolic acid was chosen as the separation inhibitors to suppress copper floating molybdenum.The concentration of Mo in the molybdenum could be above 50% steadily,and the recovery of Mo from Cu-Mo separation could be increased to 85% with the optimum conditions after several cleanings.

    Taking Ferric Sulfate as the Oxidant,a series of oxidation experiments on galena in different oxidation medium concentration are conducted under different condition with pH 2,temperature 50 ℃ and 25 ℃ repectively.Then,the reation rate constant,reaction order,reaction activation and the function of the reaction kinetics can be determined by computation.And some effects of temperature and oxidized medium on galena oxidation speed are studied.Under the condition of 50 ℃,and Fe2(SO4)3 as oxidant,the oxidation reaction rate is very fast when solution concentration is 100m g/L.The higher the concentration is,the more sulfuric acid ion can be got,and the easier sediment of PbSO4 is produced,leading the reaction impeded.And the reaction will be extremely slow or even can't carry on at 25 ℃.

    Superfine Mg(OH)2particles were synthesized by hydration of MgO made from brucite calcination in CO(NH2)2 alkali solutions.The crystal phase,morphology and size distribution of the Mg(OH)2 particles as prepared were characterized with X-ray(XRD) and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).The results indicated that the solution concentration and additive can remarkably affect the crystal phase and particle size.At a solution concentration of 2.5 mol/L and using PEG 6000 as an additive,the resultant superfine Mg(OH)2particles exhibit a regular hexagonal platelet morphology and a narrow size distribution with an average radius of 250nm and thickness of 150 nm,but the purity of particles remains to be improved.

    Yanzigou gold deposit is located in Yongxi dome core of Ganzi Danba county in Sichuan province.Ore bodies like Lens and atoid ores occur in the devonian epimetamorphic black shale series.The formation of ore bodies has a close relationship with coarse gold-bearing quartz veins and fine quartz net ores and is obviously affected by the fault.NNW of Maoniuhe river fracture and EW of Mozigou fracture,as well as some related small fracture consist of a Mi-zi type structure which provides a good migration and storage space for ore-forming fluids.In addition,the magma and metamorphism also play an important role in mineralization.In accordance with the known ore bodies,the external exploration is controlled by the ore-body structure and the ore-occurred rocks.Based on these characteristics,it can play a guiding role in external exploration and provide a great significance to explore large atoid gold ores from the fourth formation carbonaceous phyllite in devonian of western Sichuan area. 

    The stratum at Luanchuan Molybdenum Mine is hard,broken,easily leaking and absolutely complex,so that the casing drilling was carried out in exploration tasks.However,the cases during drilling were usually broken at their thread.FEM is used to analyze the tensile strength and fatigue strength for the sake of understanding what makes those cases invalid.The results indicate that the fatigue failure caused by large number of impacts force into the thread is the essential cause to make the thread broken.Then an optimal scheme is put forward,and the new designed cases are applied in field drilling to solve some difficulties.

    In order to select suitable three-phase foam for sealing fracture around borehole,3 kinds of foam agents,4 kinds of stabilizing agents and 3 kinds of solid-phase filler with different particle diameter were studied.Three-phase foam sealing liquid proportion with high foamability,good stability and strong ability of carrying solid was obtained.The proportion is: 0.4 percent of foam agent FP-1,1 percent of stabilizing agent WP-3 and 4 percent of mixed solid-phase filler with 0.2 to 1 mm diameter.Practical application shows that this proportional three-phase foam has characteristics of little sealing borehole time,rapid determination process and high determination accuracy,which is meaningful for raising the level of gas determination.

    In order to study the stability of stope and the subsidence of ground surface during the course of mining in southern district of Sijiaying iron mine,one section of mining panel was selected to do the physical and mechanics model test.The distributed optical fiber based on BOTDR was used to monitor the strain of model.It was indicated that the BOTDR-based distributed detection technique for the model was quite effective.Test results show that the model is stable,the movement of stop roof and ground surface is less,the change of strain in the pillar is stable,Bench open stoping and subsequent filling mining is feasible.There were obvious advantages for BOTDR such as distributing,high precision,easy layout,strong anti-interference,and it was a very potential technique for simulation experiment.

    Slurry was prepared using Meishan tailing as raw materials.The viscosity of slurry was detected with NDJ-1-type rotating viscometer.Effect of the pH value,dispersant content,solid-phase content,as well as the size of the tailings on the rheological properties of slurry were investigated.The result showed that: the slurry's viscosity decreased gradually when pH value less than 6,and the viscosity increased when pH value more than 6.When dispersant content was less than 0.25%,the slurry's viscosity decreased as the dispersant increased; It was opposite when dispersant content was more than 0.25%.With solid-phase content increasing,the viscosity of slurry was increased; With increase of milling time,the aggregation of particles took place,leading to the apparent size increased.The aggregation of particles was broken during the preparation of slurry,the particles would be fully dispersed,thus resulting in the viscosity of slurry increase.

    Iron resources in Mineral processing tailing,red mud,smelting tailing,roasting middling ores can be effectively recovered by SLon magnetic separators and centrifuge.The experimental results showed that large amounts of gangue were rejected and iron minerals were concentrated by the Slon magnetic separators with magnetic field strength of 0.7T~0.9T for coarse separation.A Fe concentrate grading of 60% with a higher recovery rate can be achieved under the rotational speed at 400 r/min and washing water about 2 400~2 600 ml/min by the centrifuge.

    To make a recycling of a beneficiation tailing,an optimal process and process indexes for recovering sulfur were determined based on the process mineralogical study and a series of flotation tests.The test flowsheet consisting of one roughing,one scavenging and a re-concentration of scavenging middlings adopted 300g/t butyl xanthate,60 g/t MIBC and CaO to adjust the pH value to 8.5 in the roughing,and 150 g/t butyl xanthate and 30 g/t MIBC in the scavenging,with no reagent added to the cleaning.As a result,a sulfur concentrate grading 35.95% at a recovery of 65.12% and a sulfur middling grading 20.86% at a recovery of 9.64% were obtained.
