Abstract: In view of the discrete gold ore,and low gold recovery for some fine or extra-fine gold ores by the conventional collector,Mac-12 collector was used to improve gold recovery.The experimental results showed that Mac-12 is a high effective collector for gold.Under the condition of low alkaline medium at pH 9,and compared with the butylxanthate,the flotation index with gold recovery can be improved by 5.41%,and gold grade by 18.74 g/t by Mac-12 collector.
