Three-dimensional Stability Analysis on Pillar Wall Rocks for Different Mining Scheme

Abstract

Abstract: The determination of safe pillar's thickness in the middle section of the first mining for transferring to underground mining from open pit is the key technical issue for mine.With MSC.Patran and MSC.Nastran three-dimensional visualization computing software，the stability of pillar wall rocks by different mining programs with different thickness was analyzed.Mine can determine the mining program with different pillar's thickness based on conditions of top wall rocks for different section along the strike.
