Abstract: Based on analyzing the research status of the mine ventilation at domestic and abroad, and according to the insufficiency of mine ventilation management system, the visual simulation system of mine ventilation network was designed and developed by using Geography Information System (GIS) technology, which has  functions of mine ventilation management, visual simulation, automatically building topology, real time ventilation solving. And the practical application of them with the ventilation data of a mine in Pingdingshan mine area has verified the feasibility and practicability of the system，providing a new access to mine ventilation information management, inquiry, simulation for the coal production management department.
