The basic conditions which Tibet is completely satisfied to develop advantageous mining industry are discussed from the aspects of mineral resources, economic policies, industrial structure and the needs of economic growth. And some bottleneck factors of restricting the development of Tibet advantageous mining industry in Tibet were analyzed, such as natural environment, ideology, geological work, infrastructure, distribution of benefits, environmental protection, social collaboration and so on. The methods and countermeasures for solving the bottleneck restricting factors were proposed. And it was an inevitable choice of the green and efficient mineral resources exploitation technologies to promote the virtuous development of mining industry and support the fast economic growth of Tibet.

Based on the present research situation of spontaneous combustion for sulfide ores, the oxidation and self-heating mechanism were introduced systematically, including the physical mechanism, chemical thermodynamic mechanism, electrochemical mechanism, and bio-oxidation mechanism. The prediction and forecast techniques for spontaneous combustion of sulfide ores were put forward, such as spontaneous combustion tendency test, integrating all the relevant factors evaluation, statistic and empirical method, mathematical model prediction, forecast methods of significant gas analysis and temperature measuring. Moreover, the existing integrated control techniques for spontaneous combustion of sulfide ores were also summarized. In the end, the prospects over the future research on mechanism and control measures for spontaneous combustion of sulfide ores were set forth.

,in order to guide on-site construction.One model with fault and another model without fault were established respectively.Two models took the same form of excavation:stope 1 and stope 2,leaving column between two stopes in order to support the roofs.The results of excavation by both of methods are compared through stress and displacement,and the research indicates that the fault makes the situation of mining worse,mainly showing two aspects: ①fault weakens the integrity and continuity of hanging rock,and makes the compressive stress on stope-boundary increase by 0.01~0.45 MPa;②when the thickness of pillar is large,fault seldom influences stope 1,but makes large influence to stope 2,causing the increasing subsidence of the roof,and showing that the roof of stope 2 rotates around the top of the column.When the thickness of pillar

Based on ERS1/2 images,and in view of the No.22 Mining Area of Peicheng Mine,DORIS were chosen for D-InSAR (Differential Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar) process to monitor the mining subsidence in Er'er mining area of Peicheng by the Doris software in this paper,and the subsidence values were obtained.After compared with the surface observation data,the relationship between the surface observation data and the results obtained by D-InSAR technique were established.According to the formulations,the subsidence values obtained by D-InSAR technique were modified,the land subsidence values closed with the surface observation data were calculated,and this proves that using D-InSAR technique to monitor the mining subsidence are very reliable.

Abstract Based on the field investigation, the problems of roadways support in Cuijiazhai Mine are analyzed, and overall investigation on the deformation characteristics of surrounding rock under the influence of mining are made.In addition, using bolt-mesh strengthening principle and anchor supplement support theory, the bolt-mesh-anchor support parameters are optimized and the design scheme of support is put forward.The observation results in the field show that the roadways surface displacement are greatly reduced by using the new support scheme, and the intensive deformation of roadway cross-section is effectively controlled.This method can not only speed up the construction of the roadway, but also reduce the cost.The technical measures described in this paper provide a reference for the mines with similar geological conditions.

Based on a highway widening project, using a “coordination and control of distortion” treatment thinking, the mechanism of composite foundation to prevent differential settlement are analyzed and a combined subgrade treatment Program of powder injection pile and geo-grid was proposed. Then its treatment results were evaluated. Dynamic monitoring results show that the differential settlement of cross section is 0.2 mm, and lateral displacement is 2 cm, which is in line with regulatory requirements. The results show that the widened roadbed deformation after treatment of composite foundation and the deformation difference between the new and old can reach a desired effect.

The veining up mining of hanging wall ore destroys the slope rock structure, redistributes the stress of slope rock, and affects the stability of slope. Taking the veining up the hanging wall ore residual slope of Shirengou Iron Mine for example, three-dimensional numerical model of veining up mining of the high residual slope of Shirengou Iron Mine is established, and stability of residual slope are analyzed through calculating with numerical simulation by using the large-scale finite element numerical simulation analysis software of ANSYS. The conclusion shows that this mining has little effects on the overall stability of the open pit slope of Shirengou iron ore, and the mining of residual slope is stable, but the supporting and management of roof at tunnel exit and goaf should be strengthened.

Three different structure cyclone with diameter of 100mm are researched in the laboratory and the differences between multi-cone angle HHZ-cyclone and 100、200 standard cyclone are compared. Based on the result, the multi-cone angle HHZ150 cyclone used in industrial research is designed, and its parameters can be changed, and compared with CZ150 cyclone. The study proves that the multi-cone angle cyclone has a lower separation size, and can improve the yield of the underflow of cyclone and then produce more high-quality coarse filling tailings under the same diameter of cyclone and process conditions.

Under different roasting temperature, reduction agent dosage, roasting time, fluxing agent and different grinding fineness, and taking the lignite coal (C1) and fluxing coal (C2) as reduction agents, the effects of different coal types on direct reduction roasting and magnetic separation were investigated. The results showed that the reduction effect of C2 was better than that of C1 without addition of the fluxing agents. The fluxing agent can improve the effect of direct reduction, especially for C1. With the addition of fluxing agents, DRI (Direct Reduced Iron) of 90.32% and 90.34% can be obtained by C1 and C2 respectively, while the recovery with C1 is higher by 5.30% up to be 80.66% than that of C2. Even, C1 costs less than C2, so the coal C1 is more beneficial to the reduction of iron ore.

The finite difference procedure FLAC3D was adopted to simulate the recovery of the residual pillars in Tianmashan gold mine till the destruction of the roof strata. When the roof damaged, the displacement mutation occurred and the calculations did not converge. Therefore, how the displacement mutation and calculation convergence happened can be as a criterion to judge the roof damage. According to the surrounding rock stress and displacement variation rules in stoping process, and combined with the on-site monitoring devices and numerical simulation results, a theoretical foundation is provided for the monitoring points layout optimization and forecasting for the sudden collapse of mined-out area, thereby enhancing the direction and accuracy of on-site monitoring. It is concluded that: ①Destruction occurred from roof first. This area is the most sensitive area of surrounding rock displacement and can be as the monitoring points for judging displacement mutations, and is a preferred location for multi-point displacement layout. ②After pillar recovery, the top surrounding rocks affected by mining induced the stress transferring to the terminal of the mined-out area. With the exposed area of mined-out area increasing, the bearing stress in the terminals becomes larger. However, when the roof strata damage in mined-out area occurred, the path of this transferring was blocked. So the top rock weight in top of mined-out area no longer delivered downward to the terminals and then the stress in supporting area decreased, showing a rebound phenomenon of stress. This phenomenon provides a theoretical foundation of predicting the sudden collapse of mined-out area for on-site stress monitoring. Therefore, layout of stress monitoring in the terminal point of mined-out area is superior to other locations.

A new type of anionic reverse flotation CSC-68, and a new modifier CSR-36 developed by Changsha Research Institute of Mining and Metallurgy were adopted to make the inverse flotation tests on magnetic separation concentrate for Yuanjiacun iron ore, and then test results are compared with that of four reagents combination of the traditional NaOH + Starch + CaO + fatty acid anions collector. The results showed that by combining two new agents, the iron ore concentrate in reverse flotation with grade of 66.06% and recovery of 87.19% are obtained. The ratio of iron grade and recovery with the traditional four reagents combinations are higher by 0.96% and 0.87% respectively. New agents are not only superior in beneficiation index, but also can greatly simplify the agents system. Moreover, scaling problems in the pipeline caused by CaO can be avoided.

A high-phosphorus oolitic hematite minerals in Guizhou province, embedded in fine particle size. The hematite particle size are less than 10 micron observed by microscope, and the oolitic structure with no obvious nuclear or gangue mineral nuclear appeared. The beneficiation tests on this iron ore were carried out. The results showed that the traditional beneficiation method can not effectively separate the ores. And through the magnetic roasting-magnetic separation process, an iron concentrate with 55.74% Fe grade and 57.11% Fe recovery could be obtained, however, the content of phosphorus are high up to 0.258% in iron concentrate. The iron concentrate obtained by magnetic roasting-Magnetic separation was leached by sulphuric acid. Then, the P grade was decreased to 0.065%, Fe grade was increased to 57.73% with a 50.81% total recovery.

According to the Pb-Zn ore natures in Ganluo county, Sichuan province, such as high oxidized degree, unevenly mineral particle distribution, and easy pelitization, the processing of lead floating by sulfuration and zinc float by desliming has been adopted with the assistance of high-efficient collector S-8 for lead flotation and amines combined collector A-9 on oxide zinc flotation to perfectly separate lead and zinc. The experimental results showed that lead concentrate with Pb grade of 63.40% and Zn grade of 2.53% at a lead recovery of 76.96%, and Zn concentrate with Zn grade of 38.31% and Pb of 0.87% at a Zn recovery of 81.83% were obtained.

The Cu-Bi multi-metal ores in Jiangxi were treated by adopting the Cu-Bi mixed flotation - Cu-Bi separation flotation techniques with new type of organic depressant XTL-3 to realize the high efficient Cu-Bi cyanide-free separation. With the grinding fineness of -74 μm 70%, copper concentrate grading of 27.51% at an 88.71% recovery and bismuth grading of 20.14% at a 77.58% recovery were obtained respectively. The Isoamyl Xanthate and Butylamine Dithiophosphate are used together as collector in a Gold Beneficiation Plant of Shandong. And a flotation process of one roughing -two cleaning-two scavenging for gold ore with grinding of -0.074 mm 60% is adopted, only obtaining a gold recovery of about 59%. Thus, researches mainly focusing on the reagent condition tests and the grinding fineness tests were carried out. The tests results indicated that the gold concentrate with Fe grade of 30.83 g/t and Fe recovery of 93.36% was obtained by a closed-circuit flotation of one roughing-one cleaning-one scavenging with conditions of BD-11 as collectors, Copper Sulfate as an activator, 11# oil as the foaming agent, and the grinding fineness of -0.074 mm 60%. By this method, the gold recovery can be rapidly improved, compared with the on-site production.

According to the characteristics of high precision related GPS data, the problems which should be paid attention to in the data processing are introduced, and the related symmetry weight function is constructed to improve the quality of data processing and the calculation speed.Through the analysis of the major factors which influence the quality of data processing, the robust estimation model of correlated observation data with outliers is invested and the existing IGIII scheme is improved by constructing the related symmetric weight function to keep the symmetric of the weight matrix.Then a relevant symmetric weight function is constructed to improve the original IGIII scheme, and keep the symmetric of the weight matrix and the corresponding matrix.The results show that the improved algorithm greatly saves the calculating time, ensures the correctness of the model and improves the quality of data processing.

The application of Induced polarization method in exploration of a lead-zinc mine in western Yunnan showed that the region depending on the rate of

magnitude of the minimum charge was at 3% up to 21%, the background field is generally from 5% to 7%, the anomaly field generally 15%. The maximum apparent resistivity ρs is 910 Ω·m, and the minimum is only 25 Ω·m. So the anomaly field has a clear distinction with the regional background field. After exploration, an anomaly zone was delineated, and the proven antimony, lead-zinc veins were found. The application results show that through the induced polarization method can effectively delineate the distribution scope of induced polarization anomalies and its morphological characteristic to understand the buried depth and spatial occurrence of the polar body, thus effectively guiding the exploration works.

Based on GPS monitoring data on No.2 Nickel Mine Area in Jinchuan, a new idea of quantitative prediction of ground surface movement by means of GIS and ANN(Artificial Neural Network) was put forward and the specific method was given.The whole process of ground surface movement prediction based on ANN may be carried out in GIS platform by Avenue programming, including designing data mode, designing and training network framework, testing network framework, forecasting by network, and so on.Such works as data processing, contrasting testing results and analysing forecasting results were achieved by GIS.The Elman ANN prediction model was realized by the technique of Matlab 6.5 program with VB6.0, which was integrated in GIS by Avenue programming.The results stated that the ANN prediction model supported by GIS had a theoretical feasibility and realistic significance in predicting ground surface movement, and GIS and ANN had a wide application prospect in prediction of exploitation subsidence.

Due to the difficulties of online measurement and direct closed-loop control of grinding particle in grinding-classification process, the case-based reasoning technique was adopted to build an online soft-sensor model for grinding particles. Then, based on this, an advanced inferential control scheme was proposed to achieve the closed-loop control of particle size. This advanced control system can automatically adjust the set-point of the lower-level PID controllers according to the operational conditions. As long as the outputs of the PID control loop can track their adjusted set-point, the closed-loop control of particle size will be achieved. The industrial application in a mineral processing plant showed that this proposed approach can achieve good performance of estimation and control of particle size.

The safety evaluation of the tailing pond is a complex system, hence, many factors should be considered. The current methods of safety evaluation are used to study the tailing pond safety from different angles. But these studies failed to comprehensively distinguish the security situation of tailing pond. Based on the revolutionary theory, this paper uses initial fuzzy membership function and mutation series and combines the revolutionary theory and fuzzy analysis to resolve the multiple layers of target of the whole tailing pond, and then the ultimate catastrophe function can be obtained through quantitative computing by the normalization formula. The safety level of the tailing pond can be determined by transferring the ultimate catastrophe function. The engineering example indicates that the comprehensive evaluation model based on catastrophe theory can accurately judge the security situation of tailing pond.

Based on the survey and the classification of the subsidence area of Beiminghe iron mine, a model is created via the numerical simulation software. Because of the requirement of continuity in the numerical simulation software, the plastic distortion of the upper surrounding wall instead of the collapse in the top of mined-out area will be obtained, which is inconsistent with the actual situation. The goaf could be substituted with the collapsing body, so a related numerical model can be created, and then the prediction on the subsidence area can be obtained via the numerical simulation and calculation. Based on this, the treatment measures are proposed, providing a certain reference for the treatment of the subsidence area in typical caving mining.

A whole set of dry discharge process for iron tailings are explored by Shandong Coal Mining Equipment Group Co., Ltd. In this process, the tailings are classified by cyclone, where the coarser is filtered with the horizontal belt type vacuum filter, and the finer is concentrated and filtered by the completely automatic vertical filter press. The filtering cake is discharged dryly and the filtering water is recycled. A remarkable economic and social efficiency was obtained in this process.

The red mud from Shandong Aluminums Company were used to prepare water permeable brick, and then the main factors of affecting the performance of the bricks were investigated. The experiment results showed that the suitable formula for aggregate of the water permeable bricks are red mud of 55%, fly ash 35%, bentonite 10% at an appropriate sintering temperature of 1 150 ℃. Using this aggregate to make the bricks, the appropriate conditions consist of the aggregate of 82% in solid material of bricks, bentonite of 8%, glass powder of 10%, water glass accounting for 8% of solid material at brick molding pressure of 40 MPa, sintering temperature 1 080 ℃, and sintering time 60 min. The compressive strength of red mud water-permeable brick obtained is 35.32 MPa with permeability coefficient of 0.028 cm/s, wear length of 27.35 mm.

The experimental study on gold and tungsten recovery from the a certain tailing of gold, antimony and tungsten which was treated by the combined flow-sheet of gravity separation and flotation is carried out. According to the tailing's characteristic, the selective flotation flow-sheet with the closed circuit is adopted. Then, the gold concentrate of 14.10 g/t with gold recovery of 50.36% and Tungsten coarse concentrate of 1.22% with Tungsten recovery of 49.61% are obtained respectively. The gold concentrate can be used as products directly and Tungsten coarse concentrate should be sent to the on-site process for retreatment. This result can provide a foundation for comprehensive on-site utilization of tailings resources.
