Abstract: When a deposit needs the joint of open pit and underground mining，no combination as an organic whole of open pit and underground mining in space and time in its exploitation and design will bring a lot of trouble.The open-pit mining of a surface-oxidized copper ore was carried out which did not consider the influence of underground mining at all.Through the investigation on various copper mining pits，impacts on the underground mining are analyzed，and some recommendations of disaster prevention were proposed.
