Abstract: There are a large number of low grade tailing reservoirs with security problems in Hebei.As their construction and production are relatively simple，some universal measures of technical transformation for dangerous reservoirs can be sought out.The paper analyzed the security situation of low grade tailing reservoirs in Hebei，and carried out sample surveys.The related technical features are summarized from security aspect.A general idea of the technical transformation for dangerous reservoirs is pertinently proposed，which has a certain practical value for production and reconstruction design of tailing reservoirs of small-sized mines.
