Abstract: This paper analyzes the mechanisms of dust production in bucket wheel stocker and reclaimer，and  proposes water spraying dust-settling technology of self-impingement liquid jet for this machine.Some key parameters of affecting the efficiency of dust control in the water spraying dust-settling of self-impingement liquid jet are investigated，such as flow rate，spraying velocity，rotary speed，jet injection angle between jet flow and loading bucket etc.The practice showed that this water spraying dust settling of self-impingement liquid jet had more ideal effect than other de-dusting technology.It has feature of simple structure，less investment，reliable operation，and easy maintenance without secondary pollution.Due to its high wind resistance ability，dusts can be controlled to be over 80%.So this technique is a good dust removing way for bucket wheel stocker and reclaimer.
