Abstract: A kind of tungsten gravity tailing containing 0.02% of molybdenum has a comprehensive recovery value. The flotation experiments on recovery of Molybdenum from this tailing indicated that molybdenum concentrate with grade of 46.39% and recovery rate of 68.48% is obtained in full process of one roughing under rough grinding of 40% -0.074 mm and coal oil as collector, and following four cleaning for rough concentrate under regrinding fineness of 80% -0.074 mm,and taking lime as pH modifying agent, sodium sulfide and sodium silicate as the depressant respectively.
