Abstract: With the feature of low grade，high pyrite content，serious oxidization in some parts and fine disseminated grain in a refractory gold ore of Henan，experimental studies on flotation and cyanidation leaching were carried out.The results showed that grade and recovery of gold concentrate were only 18.72 g/t and 2.55% respectively by flotation.In cyanidation leaching process，gold leaching rate reached 81.11% under the condition of grinding fineness of -0.074 mm 90%，the liquid-solid ratio of slurry 2∶1，pH value about 11.5 by adding lime for 5 h，and 1 kg/t Sodium cyanide at a 72 h of cyanidation leaching time.Hence，this cyanidation leaching process is recommended to treat this ore.
