Abstract: Through the laboratory tests and semi-industrial beneficiation tests, the flotation effect of JISCO Huashugou Copper Ores with Ester-105 as collector was investigated, and then it was compared with that with butyl xanthate. The results showed that under the same flotation process, copper concentrate grade by Ester -105 reached 22.51% and improved by 3.72% comparing with butyl xanthate. Moreover, Ester-105 has advantages of simple reagent system, low cost pharmacy, and good water quality in tailings, thus it is recommended as collector in beneficiation of Huashugou copper ore. The research result has been used as a basis for the dressing plant design of Huashugou copper mine.
