Abstract: The properties of primary concentrate from the recovery machine in No.1 Ore Dressing Workshop of Gongchangling Concentration was studied systematically in this paper.The effects of grinding size and low magnetic field intensity as well as pulsating current and rising water flow rate of electromagnetic sorting machine on the separation index were also investigated.Using the flowsheet including one-stage low magnetic pre-concentration，one-stage grinding，two-stage low magnetic separation，one-stage electromagnetic sorting，tailings of which was returned to grinding to treat the primary concentrate，the high quality concentrate product with grade＞67% and recovery 72% was obtained.This study provided a technical solution for No.1 Ore Dressing Workshop Tailings in Gongchangling Concentration to recovery the strongly magnetic mineral more effectively and more steadily.
