    The output connection in transitional period was one of the key technical difficulties during the transition from open-pit to underground mining.Taking E'kou Iron Mine as a case,two proposals for the smooth transition were given based on the comprehensive analysis of the mine resources,opencast production status,opencast stripping schedule and underground mining district.One was the underground output production with the aid of open-pit production,and the other was open-pit production with the aid of underground production.These two proposals were applied to the mine to obtain the most realistic programs for smooth transition.

    The rational span size of Zhangcunping mining is determined by the rock beam thoery analysis and the finite element calculation.Through the comparation of the compression strength between ore pillar and the C20 concrete artifical pillar,under the condition of 120m thick of cover rock,the size of C20 concrete artifical pillar greater than 5 m×5 m could make the safety factor of concrete pillar reach the number 1.0,which shows the replace of ore pillar by C20 concrete artifical pillar is feasible and could fulfill with the safety and stability during the recovery work of ore pillar,then can obtain the great economic benefit.

    Taking the solid-liquid phase flow pipeline transport technology of deep-sea mining as the applied background,the law of resistance loss changing in horizontal pipeline under conditions of different particle size,volume and concentration,and conveying velocity were investigated by building the simulation system of hydraulic pipeline transport.The results showed that the higher volume concentration or the greater transportation velocity is,the more resistance loss would be.The relationships between the resistance loss and each parameter are as following.If other conditions stay the same,there is the exponential relationship between the resistance loss and the concentration or the velocity.Particle's movement has a certain effect on the rate of resistance changing.Based on the experimental data and the theoretical analysis,the formula for calculating the resistance loss was proposed.

    Based on the specific mining environment of the transition from open-pit to underground in Shirengou mining model,the AHP and the Fuzzy mathematics methods fundamental theory were used to make a synthetic assessment.During this process,lots of dynamic and static,fix and non-fix quantified influence factors working on the mining method were taken into synthetic account,such as the technical and economic factors and degree of slope stability etc.The influence factor indexes of the mining methods were transformed into the matrix of the membership degrees;the weight of the influence factors matrix was established according to the AHP method.With the weights matrix and the matrix of the membership degrees,the Fuzzy synthetic judge model was established,and the synthetic superior degree of the mining methods based on the influence factors was got by the numeration with the Fuzzy mathematics methods,so the third mining model comes to the first place.

    According to the wall-rock supporting features and wall-rock deformation mechanism of powder ores' rock tunnel in Jinshandian Iron Mine,the numerical simulation on the wall-rock surroundings is made.And the poyting-thomson constitutive model is defined based on FLAC3D background.Through the contrast and summary on the bolting shotcrete support schemes that are initially designed,the optimal supporting proposal is obtained through the adjusting supporting parameters.This method can be applied in the other mining tunnel to select the appropriate supporting and then to be improved.It has advantages of low-cost,simplicity,high capacity of post-processing.

    Taking rock slope formed in the process of excavation in the west as project background,the numerical simulation on the law of stress evolution and deformation on the excavating direction of rock slope was carried out by numerical simulation software- FLAC3D.The results showed that the stress of rock slope formed by excavation was significantly reduced in the process of open excavation,showing like “W” from up to down,and tensile stress zone was formed in the middle of model,which was one of key reasons that caused rock slope failure.Significant expansion deformation of rock slope appeared in the process of excavation,and it was bigger as the increase of depth.The deformation along the direction of excavation at foot of the rock slope was maximum because of the rule of complicated stress evolution.

    Rongguan Iron-zinc Mine adopts the transition mining method from open pit to underground.Combining with its engineering geological situation,the paper studied the application of pillarless sublevel caving in this mine,and introduced its structural parameters of the two working benches.Then,some of parameters were optimized,such as lateral opening angle and bench height,by which the bulk rate and the ores loss and dilution rate were lowered,with a better economic benefit obtained.

    Submarine mining exploitation is rare at domestic and overseas.Xinli mining area of Sanshandao Gold Mine,is the first metal mine carrying out submarine mining exploitation in our country.It is necessary to make a full investigation on submarine safety of metal mining.According to production practice and relevant experience at home and abroad,the perturbation layered back-filling method of low room pillar settlement in quasi strata outside vein is proposed and reasonable mining quasi scheme and recovery sequence are determined.Industrial test results show that the perturbation layered back-filling method of low room pillar settlement in quasi strata outside vein has significant advantages of more working faces,higher mining intensity per unit area,higher mining efficiency and so on.It is of great significance for submarine exploitation and owns remarkable economic and social benefit.

    In view of the request of 3D visualization on tunnel in underground,according to the topology structure of tunnels and the raw data of tunnels,a 3D reconstruction algorithm on irregular cross section tunnel based on discrete points was proposed.In this algorithm,a collaboration strategy of the shortest diagonal line and adjacent contour is adopted,which can effectively approach to the real tunnel entities.The simulation detection shows that this algorithm is stable in performance,and can effectively realize the 3D fast reconstruction of irregular cross section of underground tunnel.

    Using the infiltration upper-edge-line by the existing methods in the numerical simulation of the 3-D seepage field,the larger errors of the numerical results would be caused compared by the testing results.According to this problems,a new indirect conversion method is presented to determine the more accurate location of the infiltration upper-edge-line.Based on the seepage theory and the finite element method,the numerical simulation is carried out to analyze the 3-D seepage field by selecting three different location of the infiltration upper-udge-lines.And the numerical results are compared with the testing results,which shows the validity of the method presented in the paper to accurately determine the infiltration upper-edge-line in the numerical simulation.

    The experimental research of remote sensing rock mechanics indicates that the infrared radiation of rock varied characteristically in the process of rock loading and catastrophe happening,and the infrared technology can detect the stress and catastrophe of rock.In this paper the infrared detection tests were carried out in Yu'ernie gold mine of Hebei province and Qidashan iron mine of Liaoning province on the basis of past experimental research to the issue of mine safety related to rock fracture and destabilization.The result showed that thermal imager could detect effectively the high-stress area of tunnel,roof caving,water seeping,fault and landslip of opencast mine.The thermal images in these area were different form that of normal rock around.If the detection is carried out dynamically for a long time,the thermal imaging technology can predict the happening of mine disaster.The test results provide a new method to detect and predict the disasters happening of mine.

    The mining investment that can be delayed is equal to a real option.Based on the improved decision-making model of best mining investment timing,the critical price and value of zinc mine investment at abroad were analyzed.The results showed that the critical price of the zinc mining investment P* is $2 069.69 and the critical value V(P*) is $348.60.It is feasible to invest the zinc mining project in 2010.The critical price of the zinc mining is most sensitive to production cost C.If the production cost C decreases by 1%,the critical price will be reduced by 0.772 1%.The critical value is most sensitive to convenience yield δ.If the convenience yield decreases by 1%,the critical value will be increased by 1.329 7%.

    According to the properties of copper-lead mixed rough concentrate of a large-scale mines in Xinjiang,a reasonable test process is proposed to carry out the tests on the consumption of active carbon for reagent removal and combined inhibitors for lead suppression in Cu-Pb separation process,and the grinding fineness tests on the mixed rough concentrate to effectively make a separation of copper and lead.Through the optimal closed-circuit process,copper concentrate with Cu grade of 21.50%,lead content of 4.57%,and Cu recovery of 69.92% and lead concentrate with Pb grade of 46.89%,Cu content of 0.82% and Pb recovery of 55.39% were obtained from this mixed rough concentrate.

    Based on the simple process mineralogical studies on a polymetallic sulfide ore with copper of 0.16%,lead of 0.86%,zinc of 2.92%,the technical conditions for recovering the valuable components are emphasized.The closed-circuit test process of copper-lead bulk flotation by one-roughing,three-cleaning and two scavenging,copper concentration by one-roughing,two-cleaning,and one-scavenging,lead concentration by one-roughing,two-cleaning,and one-scavenging,and zinc separation by one-roughing,four-cleaning and two scavenging is carried out.Finally,three concentrates of copper,lead and zinc with Cu grade of 22.17%,Pb grade of 52.19%,Zn grade of 39.15% at a recovery of 75.65%,84.25%,44.63% respectively are obtained.

    The leaching solution of Zijinshan Copper Mine is adopted as the mother liquor to extract the Acidithiobacillus ferrooxidans to identify the purification and physiological features of bacterial strains.Then the nature of the extracted EPS and its fractions are analyzed and surveyed.Under 6 group combining conditions with addition of Fe3+ and the strain or not,deactivation of the strains or not,EPS separating from living cells or not,the law of potential variation of oxidization and reduction in leaching process of Zijinshan copper samples are investigated.Then the reasons for reforming this law are revealed one by one.The studies show that the leaching of EPS to the metallic sulfide ore can not do without its secreted living cells. 

    Leaching vanadium from stone coal ore with HF as acid lixiviant were carried out,and the effects of fineness,HF acid concentration,leaching time,leaching temperature and liquid to solid ratio on vanadium leaching rate were investigated.The results indicated that the above factors have obvious effects on vanadium leaching rate,and the appropriate leaching condition is as -0.074 mm particles in the sample for 75%,HF acid concentration of 3.5 mol/L,leaching time for 8 h,leaching temperature at 60 ℃,liquid to solid ratio of 3∶1,and agitation speed of 600 r/min.And under these conditions,vanadium leaching rate can reach 97.91%.HF acid can effectively act with the vanadium-contained minerals and destroy its crystal structure,which is good for improving vanadium leaching rate.

    The separation tests of desliming-magnetic separation-flotation with alkaline medium for a low-grade refractory kyanite ore of Jiangsu were adopted to explore the appropriate technical conditions for grinding,desliming,magnetic separation,and flotation.Based on this,the open-circuit process of grinding,desliming,high intensity magnetic separation and flotation with one-roughing and four-cleaning was made.Then,kyanite concentrate with Al2O3 grade of 55.13% were ultimately obtained.

    Distribution ratio and separation coefficient of aluminium,rare earth in naphthenic and chloronaphthenic acid systems with different extractant saponification value have been studied respectively in different acidity and aluminium concentration.The results show that optimized process parameters are all MAl=12.5 mmol/L,pH=0.10 and 0.35 extractant saponidication value in the two extractant systems.Moreover,separation coefficient of aluminium,rare earth in chloronaphthenic acid is about 4.5 times than naphthenic acid systems.Besides these,avoiding emulsion problem is also advantage of chloronaphthenic acid.So chloronaphthenic acid system has more superiorty.

    The petrological characteristics of Eocene Granites from the East Sag-uplift of Nyainqenanglha Arc-back study and the whole-rock geochemical analysis on Granitoid rocks showed that the REE patterns of granite presents right decline with Eu as a boundary of left-steep and right-slow style.Granitoid was formed in late stage of collision under tectonic environment of short stress relaxation and stretching.It is generated by the syntexis of the mantle and crustal material during subduction process,and the partial melting of the thickened crust salic.Besides,the deep-sea sediments in upper part of subducted slab also participated in the formation of the magma.Wall rocks consist of the acidic-intermediate volcanic rocks and silty slate stones,sandstone,and limestone.Its structure and growth are in favor of forming the epithermal deposit related porphyry deposit,porphyry-type deposits and skarn deposits.

    Through the Transient Electromagnetic  Measurements(TEM) and the corresponding data processing,the corresponding relationship between the apparent resistivity of -350~-600 m and different lithologies are set up.According to the regional differences in apparent resistivity of lithology,it is divided into four fracture zones.Due to the apparent resistivity difference between rock and ore greater than two orders of magnitude,the spatial location of the ore is determined.With the actual verification of deep drilling,the rate of ore-finding reaches 75% with the efficiency of mining exploration greatly improved.

    The paper introduced the theoretical basis,instrument and devices of geo-gas survey technology,and the geochemical graphic method of the rare earth,and made a discriminate analysis on the basic principle and method of these two nuclear processing data.The detection of the geo-gas of the concealed metallic ore and the geophysical anomaly in the HSP region confirmed that the analysis of the geo-gas survey data plays an important role in prospecting for the deep concealed metallic ore.

    Tailing pond is an artificial debris flow hazard with high potential energy,so it is very important to monitor its stability to prevent the occurrence of dam breaking.Based on the GSM/GPRS communication network platform,the wireless remote transmission technology of monitoring data,which includes deep displacement and surface displacement of tailing dam,phreatic line,seepage pressure,water level of tailing pond,rainfall capacity,beach length and safety altitude difference,were researched with new-type monitoring technology and methods.Round-the-clock,automatic,remote monitoring of the stability of tailing dam was realized.High precision on-line monitoring system of tailings stability with the function of monitoring data timing acquisition and real-time transmission was constructed.This on-line monitoring system provided an effective technical mean to obtain the dynamic evolution information in the process of tailing pond operation.

    In order to analyze the effect of atomization cooling in the partial high-temperature mining face,a describing technique of two-phase flow called Eulerian-Lagrangian method is adopted to simulate the effect of atomization cooling,and the coupling of droplet and wet air is taken into account in the process of calculation.The results of the numerical calculation show that the temperature of flow declines 4 ℃ rapidly after once atomization cooling,which satisfies the demand of cooling in mine.And the effective distance of every row of atomizers is 10 m in the direction of caving face.The temperature of flow goes up 1.5 ℃ after cooling.As a whole,the temperature of flow in caving face goes up statutorily.The cooling effect changes with flux of atomizer as a format of minus exponent.The effect of atomization cooling is obvious in the range of 70°~90° for the spraying angle,and a high pressure mist atomizer can improve the effect of atomization cooling distinctly.

    To research the stability of mined-out area in Qingshuichazuiyao limestone mine,and based on field investigation on the goaf and its mining environment,the field point load tests and the indoor uniaxial tensile and compressive strength tests were carried out to obtain the rock mechanics parameters.Three-dimensional finite element method was adopted to make the numerical simulation on this limestone mine.The simulation results indicated that Qingshuichazuiyao limestone mine was in low stability,and the concentrated tensile stress in the part roof of mined-out area maybe result in roof falling or wall caving with large ground subsidence.According to the analysis results and the on-site investigation,the corresponding countermeasures for mine safety was put forward,which provided a guide for mine safety production.

    WO3 powder prepared under the optimal thermal decomposition conditions,was used as butyl xanthate to simulate the photocatalytic degradation of under visible light irradiation(λ≥420 nm).The effect of various variables on the butyl xanthate degradation is investigated such as WO3 dose,initial butyl xanthate concentration,pH value and degradation time.Under conditions of the butyl xanthate concentration of 40 mg/L,1.0 g/L WO3 at pH=7 with the degradation time of 5 h,the degradation efficiency of xanthate reached 92%,and the removal efficiency of chemical oxygen demand(COD) was found to be 84%.Among these variables,the influence of solution pH on degradation butyl xanthate is most significant.The degradation of butyl xanthate is rapid at acidic solution media.The degradation rate reached 90% when pH=4 for 30 min.The kinetics studies showed that the butyl degradation of butyl xanthate followed the first class kinetic model at room temperature.The investigation of UV-Visible Absorption Spectrum on the degradation of butyl xanthate showed that only degradation product CS2 appeared in process of degradation butyl xanthate.

    Taking the mine wastewater from the industrial waste-water treatment station of Dexing Copper Mine as research target, and the index of Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), heavy metals ion and SO2-4 and suspended solid(SS) as water  quality monitoring index, the feasibility of applying the integrated Fenton oxidation- neutralization-PAM flocculation techniques to attain standard discharge is studied. The industrial experiments for 48 h indicated that with the rational addition of H2O2, calcium carbide and PAM, a high removal rate of COD,SO2-4, the heavy metal ion and SS was realized. Then each index of the treated water can meet I-class criteria specified in Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard(GB 8978-1996) in China.

    The properties of primary concentrate from the recovery machine in No.1 Ore Dressing Workshop of Gongchangling Concentration was studied systematically in this paper.The effects of grinding size and low magnetic field intensity as well as pulsating current and rising water flow rate of electromagnetic sorting machine on the separation index were also investigated.Using the flowsheet including one-stage low magnetic pre-concentration,one-stage grinding,two-stage low magnetic separation,one-stage electromagnetic sorting,tailings of which was returned to grinding to treat the primary concentrate,the high quality concentrate product with grade>67% and recovery 72% was obtained.This study provided a technical solution for No.1 Ore Dressing Workshop Tailings in Gongchangling Concentration to recovery the strongly magnetic mineral more effectively and more steadily.

    The chemical composition of tailings sands with Fe 21.77%,Cu 0.20%,S 1.03% and the phase of main mineral were analyzed,and then a process of low intensity magnetic separation-high intensity magnetic separation-reduction roasting-low intensity magnetic separation-bulk flotation of copper and sulfur-separation of copper and sulfur is made to get Fe,Cu and S.Under the optimal technical conditions obtained from tests,iron concentrate with a yield of 20.39%,Fe grade of 61.62%,Fe recovery of 57.71%,copper concentrate with Cu grade of 14.57%,Cu recovery of 3.21%,and Sulfur concentrate with S grade of 38.21% and S recovery of 10.95% are achieved.The conclusion is that the recovery of iron minerals reaches remarkable economic benefits,but the recovery of copper and sulfide minerals are not ideal.

    Taking Guangxi karst accumulative bauxite tailings as raw materials,a systematic study on the technical conditions for the preparation of poly aluminum ferric sulfate(PAFS) by rational acid leaching of aluminum and iron is carried out.Through the turbidity and COD removal tests,the flocculation performance of self-made PAFS and polymer aluminum sulfate(PAS) at market is compared.The results show that the PAFS has a better performance in turbidity and COD removals than PAS.Therefore,the widespread application of this technique can not only make full use of resources and promote resources recovery,but also systematically find a way to deal with the tailings.

    The composition of the desulphurized and skimmed slag tailing from Ansteel is similar to the silicate cement, and the water requirement of normal consistency, soundness, setting time and strength of slag tailings-blended cement were researched respectively by adopting the tailings slag powder stead of silicate cement.The comprehensive analysis indicated that the tailings powder of desuphurization and slag skimming can replace some of the cement.But it has a negative effect on the compressive strength and rupture strength of cement mortar at different days.Therefore, the maximum amount of tailings to be blended is recommended at less than 30%.
