Abstract: According to the properties of copper-lead mixed rough concentrate of a large-scale mines in Xinjiang,a reasonable test process is proposed to carry out the tests on the consumption of active carbon for reagent removal and combined inhibitors for lead suppression in Cu-Pb separation process, and the grinding fineness tests on the mixed rough concentrate to effectively make a separation of copper and lead.Through the optimal closed-circuit process, copper concentrate with Cu grade of 21.50%,lead content of 4.57%,and Cu recovery of 69.92% and lead concentrate with Pb grade of 46.89%,Cu content of 0.82% and Pb recovery of 55.39% were obtained from this mixed rough concentrate.
