Abstract: From the perspective of their applications in the comminution process design，various kinds of material parameters for ore-comminution characterization as well as the relevant test methods are reviewed，including material parameters for sizing traditional crushing and grinding equipment and their test methods，material parameters for designing comminution circuits with AG/SAG mills and their test methods，and the comminution test method for designing circuits with HPGR.
