Abstract: Stuclied the ultrasonic on the intensification of leaching on steelmaking dust which contains ZnFeO₄ ，and contrast this craft with traditional leaching craft. The effect of initial acid concentration，leaching time，solid/liquid ratio and the intensity of ultrasonic to the leaching rate was also discussed. The results show that，with ultrasonic on the intensification of leaching，ZnFeO₄ ，which do not be dissolved in weak acid leaching agent in normal temperature，will be leached. With the conditions of initial H₂SO₄ concentration 200 g/L，leaching time 120 min，S/L ratio 10，and 20 kHz，2 W/cm² ultrasonic，the leaching rate of zinc will be more than 90%.
