Abstract: In order to make pyrite tailings fully used, an experiment was studied on the reconcertration of magnetic concentrate of pyrite tailings in which iron and sulfur were mainly hosted in magnetic and pyrrhotite. The results showed that there was a good separation effect of iron and sulfur by the process of flotation-low intensity magnetic separation-roasting.Flotation of original magnetic concentrate yielded pyrite concentrate with sulfur grade of 31.08%, and recovery level of 82.91%.Floatatien tailings after being low intensity magnetic separation and roasting could get the  iron concentrate with 62.61%TFe,0.21%S,3.87% SiO2 and  with 31.03% iron recovery to original magnetic concentrate. The sulfur concentrations were roasted in the conditions of simulatively making sulfuric acid, and produced pyrite cinder contained 61.08%TFe, 0.23%S, 5.09% SiO2, which could be used as iron concentrations.
